outside . . . it’s all blue skies and a light breeze.
cooking/eating . . . one of the partners in our office gave me a sack of ripe pears from his family farm. Now I’m on the search for a good recipe for a pear quick bread
creating . . . a blankie for someone special to Joe & Laney. I hope the bright flannel prints they chose bring a smile to their Nana’s face over the coming months.
remembering . . . what a blessing grandchildren are and how much I cherish my time with them.
reading . . . Middlesex (still – it’s a slow read) and a new cookbook (with lovely pictures that make me so hungry !)
hoping . . . to get my little sewing corner all moved and ready to start sewing again this weekend
hearing . . . my favorite music on Pandora – Frank Sinatra, Josh Grobin, Diana Krall, Chris Botti
home . . . very proud of myself for cleaning out my closets and getting rid of lots of things (and donating them to Suited for Success) – now I need to go shopping!
tonight . . . dinner with hubby, a little tv, some treadmill time with my MP3 player and an audio book (maybe a little knitting too)
from my picture journal . . .
My Mom ‘GG’ (for Great Grandma) 85 years old, holding her youngest great grandchild: Jackson, 3 weeks old (he is her 20th great-grand!)
