This past weekend I headed down some of these country roads – going south for a visit with family. Just look at how tall and green it is along all these two-lane roads — normally this time of year everything is all brown and crunchy. The green is the result of all those early summer rains.
In southern Oklahoma the daytime temps were the high 90’s with the heat index hovering around 105 degrees. Which makes this new pool area at my niece, Lorree’s home very inviting. You can just see the waterfall and stream she and husband installed, (second picture show more detail). And, Saturday morning, she and her boys put in a misting system along the covered patio. A very ‘cool’ place to hide from all that Oklahoma Summer Heat.
