I’ve been ‘Under the Dome’

Sewing, Knitting, Crafting, Baking ??

Totally not happening at my house at the moment (or for the past week either).  Instead, I’ve had my nose in a book – – – a rather large book.

In the past I’ve found that Stephen King’s books are hit or miss — some of his books I’ve loved

  • The Stand  my personal favorite
  • Hearts in Atlantis
  • The Shining
  • First Starter
  • Bag of Bones

Other King books, I struggled to finished and then got them out of my house as soon as possible.

  • It ( I still don’t totally trust any Clowns)
  • Dream Catcher
  • Cujo
  • Pet Semetary

His latest book,

‘Under the Dome’ falls firmly into the first category.

Highly recommend it as a ‘good read’ for these cold winter  days and nights.  And, even though it tops out at over a thousand pages – it was a fast-paced story — and a quick read. I finished it two nights ago and still miss the characters.    But, at my house, there’s always more books waiting – – – – also filled with characters I’ll want to get to know better.

Although I just might need to think about scheduling my reading time to allow room for some creating (and cooking, cleaning, etc. . . . ).
